Bandon part 2

Hello again from the Oregon Coast. Today was a fabulous day. We started off at Jane's Aunt Louise. We had a great breakfast there overlooking the Coquille River. We were joined by Jane's grandparents(which would make them Sofia's great grandparents), her dad and some other family as well. Even better than that was the 8, yes 8, dogs we had there as well. Digger and Pixie had some competition in the speed department, as Keller good beat them any day. The rest of the day was nice and relaxing. As you will see in the pictures, we went crabbing down on the dock. We didn't catch anything to bring home, so we ended up eating out. The day ended with a fun dog run out on the beach.
We drive home tommorrow morning, with a mid day stop in Eugene. Hope everyone out there had a great Labor Day weekend.

Bandon Trip 2007

We are currently residing in Bandon, OR, which is on the Oregon coast. Jane grew up here and her father and some other family still live here. This is my 1st trip after living in the Northwest for 4 years. And i think I will return, as it is beautiful. We are sharing a house 1 block from the ocean with Shelli and Carl along with their kids. We also have 4 dogs in the house as well.

Enjoy the pictures.

Weekly Update

Much apologies to the devoted fans out there. The last week has been busy, which explains the lack of blogging. But fear no more, the blogging continues. Sofia is turning into quite the character these days. She is aware of the word "no", knows the power of her bite, and thinks she knows it's time not to go to bed.

By no means, do I mean this in a bad way....as it's all the fun we get to go through as parents of our 1st child. I mean, we can't have it too easy. So we just enjoy her as she gets older day by day. She is standing up on her own for a good 2 seconds now, until she decides she would rather sit down.

Today was relaxing as I took her out for walk to get some fresh air. We stopped at the front of the neighborhood and had a "picnic". She had a piece of toast and I had an apple. Some big plans were made for a trip for the 3 of us, as we will take the little one to see Jane's birthplace and hometown. We can take in all the sights of cranberries and "bogs!!!" I don't know what a bog is, so Sofia and I can learn together.
